Hi, I'm Dorothy Holtermann.

I am the founder of Birth a Book and author of the

Amazon.com bestselling book, Love Food That Loves You Back.

I will be your book coach.

Maybe this sounds strange, but I hated writing my book. I didn’t know what I was doing. Some days I was upset, others I was angry. But most of all, I felt alone.

I finally took an online course, but that wasn’t enough. I wanted live human beings to be with, talk with, and commiserate with. I wanted more support. I wanted a teacher.

The online course did help me, but I still had to figure out the majority of the important information on my own.

That being said, I must admit the pain was worth the gain. My career was enhanced and my income tripled. I am still proud of my accomplishment. I wrote a book that made a difference, not only in my life, but in the lives of others.

After I finished my book, I decided to take what I learned to create the Birth a Book program, a curriculum about how to painlessly write and self publish a book.

As a self-health expert with a resume of diverse executive positions including law, grant writing and project management, I was able to bring a decade worth of skills to this task. And, it just so happens, one of those skills is particularly useful for selling books: I am an Amazon.com expert. I understand the crazy algorithm that helps your book get to the top.

This key feature is what distinguishes the Birth a Book program from the rest. What I am offering is not a writing course; it is a full blown book launching expedition that focuses not only on the creation of the book, but getting it out to the world.

If you want to write a book that will change your career, your life and the lives of others, then I have a program to get the job done.  Done without you getting hypertension, or gaining 20 pounds. Done with compassion, curiosity and commitment.

As soon as you are serious about writing a book, I have a serious program for you.

I can offer you three approaches:
